I love the Prince Charles Cinema! it’s just off Leicester Square and is a much appreciated antidote to the Vue and Odeon cinemas on the main square. It’s a red velvet, art house affair with really knowledgable staff who directed me away from seeing a Pete Doherty movie- Thank the lord, what was I thinking!? I went to a beer and pizza night instead, which was epic. The concept is having an ice cold beer and a slice of margherita for the same price as your standard ticket makes a viewing so much better, and it’s true. We saw “Face Off” – which I must say is quality light entertainment of an evening, it involves Nicolas Cage and John Travolta swapping faces Freaky Friday style. The punter’s morale, was bang on, the whole cinema was in hysterics and there was much bottle chinking in appreciation of Nicolas Cage’s facial expressions.
I shall be returning to The Prince Charles on 11th January for quote along “Clueless”- Can’t Wait !
